Re: Boston College vs West Virginia

Here's an interesting thought. A two loss team from the Big East is going into a BCS bowl, rather than an undefeated Mountain West team like Oklahoma, that beat Texas A&M at the start of the season. I'd love it too if Boston College lost one of its next two games, and Pitt beats WVU. That means that the Big East champ has lost three games, and they still get a BCS bid, while an undefeated mid major doesn't. That would cause them to seriously rethink the system, which stinks.
Unfortunately, Wisconsin lost today, so that only leaves three unbeatens that can contend for the national title game. Utah should be able to contend via a playoff after the BCS games, but it won't ever happen. But if Auburn, USC, and Oklahoma remain unbeaten, that draws attention to the national title game, and it means that one team got cheated at a chance for the national title. So if all that happens, they may even get rid of the BCS. Chances are though, so long as USC and Oklahoma play, it doesn't matter if Auburn goes undefeated, and they'll leave it go because everybody's happy but Auburn and Utah.
