What does the "P" stand for on Pirate hats?

The name says it all!

All NHL teams are pathetic this year, all with records of 0-0-0-0

Hmm... Penguins are the worst team in the universe. They are all very young, deserve a chance to grow a little, and as yet haven't lost a game this season. As far as the Pirates, they're terrible too? They're not too terrible when those guys go to other teams and be superstars. Didn't Jack Wilson just win an award? The Pirates were actually doing pretty well there for awhile last season. But then again, I don't have the privilage of criticizing teams through the eyes of a 15 year old soccer player.

Sorry....I'm not 15 years old. And I do have eyes, and the only reason the Penguins haven't lost a game is because there's no season. Hmmm go figure that one. And as for the Pirates....they're a farm team. They bring people in, build them up one at a time, and then ship them off. Its like they enjoy not hitting the .500 mark.

Why pay millions of dollars to bring in players when you can just get them experience and then trade them away for newer, younger guys or cash? Seems like the Pirates are in it for money, and can you blame them? People still go to the games. People continue to watch them on TV. Seems to me the Pirate management is pretty intelligent.

Penguins are undefeated right now, no matter how you look at it. They're still undefeated. Games or no games, the Pittsburgh Penguins have the best record in the league, and haven't given up one goal all season.

Yeah, and so far St. Francis' men's basketball team has the same record as UConn. Whatever.....

Don't they have the same record as UCONN? Yes, they do. As of now, both teams are undefeated, and therefore a matchup would be a toss-up because both teams are undefeated. What do you have to say about that, Smartypants?

The smaller team like St. Francis will never keep up with UConn. UConn has too much talent, even after losing Okafor. Likewise, with lack of stability for the Penguins, they can play against the teams with more talent, but overall, can't keep up with them. But isn't this topic about the Pirates????
