Yeah, I was at that Perry/Huntingdon game at Mansion Park. It was 21-0 before Perry even got off the bus. Huntingdon ran all over Perry. I recall RB Rob Brindle torching Perry for about 200 yards and 3-4 TDs. I think teh final score was something like 44-18, and the game wasn't even that close.
Guess who Perry's QB was that night? ROD RUTHERFORD. He basically spent the night taking the snap and then immediately running for his life because Hunt dominated the LOS.
BIG, HUGEEE difference between WPIAL football and Pitts City football.

Perry held on to beat Clearfield 12-9, kicking teh GW FG with around 4:00 left.
It is doubtful that Perry will get by the 10-AAA champ in the next round.
Holly is right, Perry does have some good athletes (as always)...The problem is (again, as it always is with Perry), they are good athletes who don't have a clue how to play football.

it was chad brindle #46
perry played berwick in 97 for the state title and towards the end of the game it was close and they neded to manage the clock a little bit and it was like they had never worked on that ever. otherwise they might have won
