I remember you not only went in the 100 that year, but you qualified in the long jump as well with 17'3", which was second to Tracie. And didn't you go in the pole vault as well?

No it's not Katie...It's Tracie. katie never ran the 200 just the 100.

Ah, I remember you as well. You gave Meridith Troutman a run for the money in the 200 meter at districts that year. So close. Yet you still medaled in the triple jump and long jump. I wasn't sure because you had another name on here earlier. Track star I think it was? What happened to that, just wondering?

I think Toutman medaled high in the 300 hurdles that year. Not completely sure but i know she was pretty good at them too. She was also quite an athlete.

yeah i knew she went in the 400m but thats the only one i knew!

The year I placed 7th in the 200 she didnt' place. I qualified in the 200 my sr. year but I didnt run b/c coaches wanted me to focus on the triple and long jump. Now I wish I would have run it tho.

it was only 7th you got in the 200m i thought it was 2nd!!!
well you can't complain though 4 wins at districts!!!

are you still in track at any college or anything?

The reason Troutman didn't place that year in the 200 is because she didn't run it. She placed 4th the following year in 200, in addition to getting 2nd in the 300's as well.
