Well, I'd be interested in seeing scores, times, and places for our meets with other schools, especially with those within the District. I mean, Bishop McCort and Forest Hills, I don't really care who they have running. But I'd be interested in seeing how Everett, NBC, and McConnellsburg stack up against our guys. By the way, what did Showalter run in the 300 hurdles?

Duece, maybe some would consider unsportsmanlike, but Ridge has such a strong team compared to other schools, that often one or two meets a year, our runners (well, their runners, since I'm no longer on the team) get to try an event of their choice. I remember one meet I threw the discus once or twice before I had to get on the track. Mike Lombardi (otherwise known as wee-man, he weighed maybe 95 pounds soaked and wet) got to try his hand at the shot. They try to get everybody to have some fun doing something a bit different with meets that would likely otherwise be complete blowouts.

Maybe Iagulli decided to do that after how ugly a meet with Shade got my freshman year. We beat them 141-8. Coach I did a sub with tthe 4x400 relay and tried to coyly give that to them. Unfortunately, it didn't work. He just wanted to get them in the double digits!

though we could have done something like that at shade last year we beat them like 127-3 i think was the score!
