Lilly picks up another win against stoystown 11-6 2day to continue the streak and raise our record to 7-5. I picked up the win 2day with a lot of offensive help. Ryan Wetzel hit a homerun and just about everyone else pitched in somehow.

Next game tomorrow in Somerset.

Saints go up 17-0 in the 4th @ Spangler, then after liberal substitutions, and 3 missing starters, they hang on for a 17-9 win. Monday @ Sidman vs Patton.

Well, Lilly lost yesterday to somerset 12-2, breakin the 5 game win streak. We look to start the streak up again going to richland 2morro night.

I heard that we are second in the division to the One and only St. Micheals.

Well lilly drops a heartbreaker 2nite to richland. Winning all the game untill the 7th where they scored i believe it was 5 to come back with the 11-10 victory. Not much to say other than that one hurts and drops us back to .500 7-7.

Claysburg at home on friday.

Saints down Portage 14-1. Doubleheader @ Claysburg Sun.

This out of today's Trib-Dem.

North Div.-
CV-Jtown 9-5, Patton 7-6, Spangboro 5-7, Ebensburg 7-9, Nanty Glo 4-8.

Central Div.-
St. Michael 10-1, Claysburg 7-6, Lilly-Loretto 7-8, Richland-Windber 4-6, Portage 3-10.

South-
Somerset 12-2, Meyersdale 6-5, Bedford 5-5, Westie-Fernie 4-7, Stoystown 3-9.

I have to believe these results are because of 2 factors: The better FH kids chose to stay together on the St. Michael team, and with the Johnstown Junior League going to 7 teams, it opened up for the older kids that normally would have stayed with their Legion teams for another year, a chance to go with the bigger boys. IMO, with the exception of those few that play with Delweld, Principle Dev., and Grays, the rest should have stayed with their Legion teams. I did say In My Opinion. You of course are entitled to yours.
