So then the Pitt Panthers scheduled a team who's head coach was good enough to get promoted to one of the most storied programs in the nation? I think Pitt knew what they were doing.

Which is about to come back to haunt them. 3 blowout wins, one over Northeastern, who is pretty good. They have a pretty balanced offense. Which doesn't really matter, because Pitt can't stop much of anything.

Ah. The Northeastern Huskies. Their field is smaller than FH's. No parking either. Haven't noticed them reaking havoc in the Atlantic-10 lately.

Well, at least Penn State didn't schedule a I-AA program like all but two teams in the Big Least. Better yet, Penn State didn't lose one of their warm up games like Pitt did, and the fact remains that two of their warm up teams ARE IN the Big East. They much have been desperate. Couldn't they have at least asked a semi respectable team, like Miami (OH) or Toledo or Akron, all three of which are usually in the mix for the MAC title? They all even make sense geographically. What about Northern Illinois? They may not be as close as those forementioned teams, but they're still no further away than Southern Florida. Why didn't the Big East go after any of those schools? I'm sure they would have been happy to join a BCS conference. Why Southern Florida and Cincinnati? Neither has a good football program, and while UC has a good basketball program, that might undergo some hard times because of Huggin's departure, and the Big East is already a loaded basketball league. They needed good football teams, but they didn't get them. That makes no sense.
