onionguy...never said Indiana would dominate the LHAC would probably be like Johnstown competitive. My point being that if three teams leave the LHAC Indiana would be the only D6 team around that could possibly join to give them a 10 team league.

Personally I hope those 3 teams do leave and nobody wants in. They want to keep playing themselves and the heck with the rest of the world because nobody else can compete. Let them hunt a 9th game and I hope everyone gives them the big old bird. Try making the playoffs playing only 8 games.

Actually the LHAC teams don't say the heck with everyone else. I think its more of a problem of certain teams running with their tails between their legs. You ought to be thankful for the LHAC. If it broke up and Bedford and FH joined the ICC I don't think it would be Bed or FH sitting at home come playoff time. ;-)
P.S. If Bedford finishes ahead of CR this year with one less win. Wouldn't that sorta be like making it with only 8 games.

No because they would still have had 2 losses which would make them 6 and 2.

6 wins still gets you in there Boss.
PC, Westmont, will have 3 losses for sure.
BTW...there are lots of schools that could compete in the LHAC. Ridge being one of them. All they need is a committment to the program, a change in attitude of the community, and a new coach to lead them in the right direction.
A guarantee the Ridge team this year is NO less talented then a current 6-2 team (Penn Cambria).
Difference, PC Football wants to win, and they went out and hired a heck of a good coach. (Ernie Fetzer).

here's an easy way to determine how good the LHAC actually is. when the official brackets are released after week 9 for playoffs. sort through and compare how many schools are from the LHAC and how many schools come from other conferences. in AA as of week 7, FIVE of the top EIGHT are from the LHAC. in single A there is only one representative, but they just happen to be the top seed, nearly TWO HUNDRED points above second place. they could ultimately lose out, go 7-2 and still be the number one seed. why? becuase they compete in the LHAC. check out portage they could finish undefeated and still be ranked below a 1-loss bellwood and a 2 loss bc, sorta speaks volumes about their conference doesnt it?
