I totally agree. Imagine this. Rutgers gets in the BCS game from the Big East and let's say PSU doesn't get in one. I'm not saying PSU won't get in a BCS Bowl, but I'm saying, just imagine this PSU beats Illinois by 8902324 points. Illinois beat Rutgers something like 33-30. I think that would definitely show that there's something wrong. Let's just hope Rutgers doesn't end up with that BCS Bowl.

Now that PSU has FINALLY won some games this year with their 5 star recruits, they can place the old file entitled "ATTENDANCE ARGUMENT" and put it away, then dust it off when they start losing again.

Titan,

Did you honestly expect PSU to stay down for forever? Did you honestly think that you'd never see PSU back in the top 10 again? If you did, maybe you are the one that is brainwashed. The only time the attendance argument comes up is when YOU PITT FANS question why PSU has to play home and home series. You've got questions, we've got answers. Then proceede to bash us when we logically answer. It's ok. Pitt sucks, always have, always will. In 2 years when the Big Least doesn't have a BCS bid, and all the 'better teams' move on to bigger and better thing('better teams', a loosly used term here) and Pitt is still left in that god aweful conference, you can keep bringing up how we only talk about attendance. Or bring up the discipline problems at PSU. Pitt might become an independant, then drop down to I-AA for football. Hell, that might be the best move for them anyway.

It still works Titan...to be a school with a stadium that seats over 80,000 you have to have done something and established some sort of program. They don't build those things to have them sit empty.

Penn State
Michigan
Ohio State

USC
Tennessee
Notre Dame
Florida
Georgia
LSU
Auburn
Oklahoma
Alabama
FSU

All those teams have pretty big stadiums and have pretty good teams most of the time. I think the attendance correlates with the team. I also know that teams like VT would like to have an even bigger stadium because they could sell more seats if they had them available.

ANYWAY...just trying to show that they don't build these big places with all these seats for just any old team. They have big stadiums because people come to see them play. Kids often want to go somewhere like this where football is King. At the schools above..most of them anyway...you'll find that football is king.

Tennessee and Virgina Tech are more than likely going to be playing a game at Bristol Motor Speedway here in the near future. That place can seat over 175,000, and I'd be willing to bet that EVERY seat will be sold out for that game. Get on those teams for wanting to pursue that game in that location, come on...
