You cannot argue that, but you can argue that there are several other teams (such as Penn State, LSU, and Virginia Tech) that could go undefeated with that schedule.

First of all, I don't think PSU beats Ohio State if the game is at the Horseshoe. I don't think VT could have beaten the Buckeyes either. The LSU/Ohio State game would be a toss up in my opinion. But then again, LSU has played a tougher schedule than USC too.

It doesn't matter if they'd lose in Columbus. Penn State won the game at home, where it was scheduled. That argument is so retarded and old and boring. Texas went in there and won in Columbus. Would Texas lose at home? That was a close game, too. Ohio State also just beat Michigan in Ann Arbor. That argument is ridiculous. Grasping for straws, much?

I have news for you. LSU is not that good.

The question was, could PSU, VT and LSU go undefeated with the schedule Texas had. Texas played at Ohio State, so I was stating my opinion on how the other teams would do if they played at Ohio State.

Granted LSU has not blown away any ranked opponents, but then again, good teams find a way to win games. If they win out, I still believe they should be the 3rd ranked team in the country behind USC and Texas.

Perhaps none of them could win at the Horseshoe. But we'll never know as far as this year is concerned. I think Penn State could possibly beat Texas head to head. But then again, maybe not. It does look like Texas actually IS the second best team in the nation at the moment. Not the best, because USC's going to spank them in the Rose Bowl with a month to prepare, but second best.

We'll see, flea. USC is a great team, but I'm sure you haven't watched a Texas game all season. I mean you don't even know the schedule of your favorite team. So, I'm sure you haven't seen them play. They should give USC a game, and they could beat them. I guess we'll all see January 4th.

You people are downright amazing sometimes. Have you seen USC's stats? Do you need to be reminded that this team just won back to back national titles? They are absolutely the best team in the nation, and are in a class by themselves. Texas is a very good team, they are number two, but I would not at all be surprised to see that UT defense get blown completely out of that game in January. Texas is NOT on USC's level. If you have seen both teams play multiple times, you would see that Texas plays against teams who look very young and unprepared. Texas is very, very good. But USC's team, all over the field, is fantastic. USC will be on a downslope very soon, not because they lose those players, but because the assistant coaches all left. There is already talk of MORE assistants getting offered jobs and having their name being tossed around for them. You cannot lose that many members of the staff and stay on top like they did. History has repeated itself like this many, many, many times with many, many, many programs. Texas is absolutely on the right track. But this is USC's year, again.
