The Suhey thing is not crap. He has been flying under the radar ever since he graduated high school. He took a couple years off school and was a ball boy for the Detroit Lions where his dad is good friends with GM Matt Millen. He took a gray-shirt last year, and a red-shirt this year. He will be a 21 year old freshman. He has been working out with the Detroit Lions for two years, going to quarterback meetings, studying film, etc. (arranged by Millen) He enrolled at Penn State last January. I'm not saying he will be the starting QB next year, but he will definitely be in the mix for years to come, and I wouldn't be surprised if he turns some heads. I'm sure JoePa will be very comfortable giving Suhey plenty of opportunities. Check out his bio on gopsusports, it's under Roster.
If the QB competition is to be won based on football knowledge, look for Paul C. or Suhey to come out on top.
