Everybody can improve. Athletes always look to improve, no matter how good they are or not. I wouldn't say it was jealousy, more like competitive drive. You never wanna be 2nd best, and you'll do anything in your power to become THE man.

I agree, I have a passion for baseball, and I really dislike the fact that he is going after the home run record. All you have to do is listen to the guy talk. He almost sounds like hi-pitch eric from the howard stern show! His voice doesn't fit his body! I feel if he reaches the HR record, and he doesn't admit to using any illegal drugs, it will be a sad day in baseball. MLB needs to continually address this issue!

These clowns ruined baseball. If Barry Bonds don't do the roids he hits 550 to 600 at the most. you can pretty much pinpoint the steroid users they are the players who at the age of 40 are still performing like they are 27. and Bonds is how old? 41 I do believe he should have been on the decline 6 or 7 years ago but he was only getting better. Thats not how the human body works without a little help.
