OG,
I admit it was the wrong thing to do at the time, and I did not like it one bit at all when he did do it. I have one question for you, OG. How many times did Feaster carry the ball after that incident? ZERO. He got the message, plus, the little running he had to do monday because of it might keep him in check for the rest of the season.
Runk attacking Feaster after he scored the T.D. will be remembered well before they remember him turning and pointing on his way to the score.
I guess I should have known that people would like to point out one bad thing he's done over his entire career at Bedford in ANY sport. Always gotta try to make a good into a bad, don't we?

now I don't know about this incident, but I do know that one bad decision can ruin a lifetime of good deeds....sometimes that's just how it is....

The 1994 New Brighton team? 12th in the COUNTRY??? As a CLASS AA TEAM in PA?????
Was that accoridng to the Rich Veytock (or maybe Mike Bryja?) National HS Football Poll???
Keep fantasizing about how "great" and "nationally ranked" that NB team was, Kiltie. Now if you were talking Berwick or Pitts CC or Central Bucks, I'd believe it...but NEW BRIGHTON???? Show it to me in print from a credible source and I will believe it.
Well, I guess District 6 didn't listen to me and cancel that PC/FH matchup. Shame on them!
The Ehrenfeld and Dunlo farm cows must've given chocolate milk Saturday Morning since PC beat Forest Hills. Looks and sounds like the Rangers had a little defensive problem Friday. 34 points to the lowly Panthers? Thoe custodians will get lost of overtime Monday, replacing all of the burned out bulbs on the visitor's side of the scoreboard. The slogan: "We must protect this house!" apparently did NOT apply. Sorry, Rangers, better luck next year.
Is it true that FH's QB is a Division I prospect? Did he transfer from New Brighton?

Ham. I'm not knocking Feaster, he is a high school kid. You are right, the kid does nothing but play hard and got caught in the moment.
Honestly I wouldn't of posted about it until I found out that a few of the coaches at Bedford thought nothing of his actions.

Those that did, did the correct thing.
You posted the story without knowing but one piece of it, which, in-turn, ended up not being 100% truthful. Just because coaches don't run up to a kid and get into his face doesn't mean that they don't care about what he just did.
Send me a PM if you know who exactly liked his action in one situation this year? I doubt it was any of the Varsity coaches.

Ham,
Not too stir anything else up. I also think Feaster is a good kid and a heck of a ball player. But I believe it was the somerset game that he did a little taunting on his way to the endzone. I don't think there is anyplace for it in HS football. Especially when your doing it against teams that aren't anywhere near your caliber.

I can remember a few years back, Bedford going to Cambia Heights (when they were good) and the fans holding up signs like "Bill Who?" and people taunting Mr. Benbow. Needless to say, it was literally "lights out" that night and he had answered their questions by the time the game was over.
That is where you make your statement. On the field with your performance. There is no need to say "look how great I am". Mr. Feaster is a good player, but considering who has been there at Bedford the last couple of years, he's not even at the top of the heap. And I can't recall any of them doing anything like this. Do you think they didn't have comments made their way?
Glad to hear the coaches took care of it and hopefully we won't see that anymore.
