I'll tell you what's amazing. Just watched the Channel 6 sports at 6:20, at it seems like the sports announcers couldn't say enough about Pitt's road loss today to #7 Wisconsin. You could almost see the glee on their little faces as they reported Pitt's 1st loss of the season. After the Pitt story, they switched to hockey. I started thinking. Didn't Penn State play a home game (where else) today? Where was that score? Maybe Southeastern Lousiana got lost on their way to the BJC and didn't show up. Surely the game, if played, was over by now. Why no report on the PSU score? So I went to espn.com and began to search for today's b-ball scores. I skimmed downward and downward thru the myriad of saturday college basketball scores. Finally, there it was. Southeastern Lousiana 68, Penn State 66. Now I knew why Channel 6 "forgot" to announce it.

I see PSU made only their 3rd road trip of the year today and lost at Purdue. Three road trips, three losses. PSU opened their season at home with Morehead State on November 10th. That's 2 months of basketball and they've only left their campus 3 times. WOW!!

UCONN played 13 games @ home before makings it's first road trip to WVU. 13 games at home before taking the road, and they're a power team in a power conference. Suck on those nutz, MOLDO.

I see Duke lost at home to Vo Tech. Sorry!! I mean Va Tech. Now, do you want me to name all the other schools who played LOTS of away games so far as a rebuttle to the UConn comment? I'm just saying, just like the PSU football team, playing cupcakes early in the season at home is a sure way to a winning season, perhaps.

Yep. Losing to an ACC team is really something to be ashamed of. It's the first ACC opener they've lost in 11 years.

Why are you bringing in the PSU Football team into a basketball topic. You're right though, the PSU fans have a total fixation on Pitt, and not the other way around... Good call.
