Yeah, you are going for an education but also when you can get the same overall education at many other schools that have many other things to do why not go there. If they had a decent athletic program maybe they would have some more activities to do that way. There football team is very happy with a .500 year, there men's basketball program is the always the cellar-dwellers of the NEAC, and the Women's Basketball program has been on the decline for the last decade. I think that they may have more success dropping out the Division 1.

That may have been true at one time, and maybe it still is in certain areas of study (obviously Johns Hopkins is better than Cambria Rowe), but colleges are just businesses when it comes right down to it. We're seeing more and more companies hiring people simply because they have a college degree. A lot of my friends back in Tejas are all making good money right now and working for a very large company, and they don't all have the same degrees at all. The company says that they will basically hire anyone with a college education. I heard on the radio last night that that business degrees are in large demand now. It seems like business degrees are the new "liberal arts". You can do anything with a business degree or a communications degree. It doesn't matter if its from UPJ or Penn State. Business majors are in such demand right now that I heard a company (I forget which, but they're enormous) is actually offering flat-screen TV's as a "signing bonus" if they hire you, because they need ppl so badly. If I had to do it all again, I would have minored in business. All you young dudes and dudettes should do that. Just minor in it and get through it, it won't be difficult. Actually, if I had to do it all again I'd figure out how to make the Tesla death-ray and I'd just take all your money from the bank.

Saint francis football is a joke i was at a game where they were trounced. All the quarterback could do was throw interceptions and the kicker kicked a punt so bad he had to run it himself.

All teams have bad seasons. St. Francis just needs to get their recruiting on track and get some quality athletes to go there. This year was a great start.
