read my post more carefully...I said i wasn't about to call out current Penn State players that are in their 4 and 5th years and are on scholarship that their gametime play doesn't merit. The point was to the effect, as HR stated, that as long as the players put in their time on scout team and do the things they're asked to do....about 99% of the time they're allowed to keep their scholarship.

Very confusing. You started your previous post with "not sure who started the rumors", then later said "I won't call anyone out". If you meant PSU players, why didn't you say "I won't name any player". VERY confusing. Irregardless, what I said in MY last post holds true.

Seems to me that coach, WALTER4 and ABPK2903 are of the opinion that scholarships can be just taken away from 5th year guys at the wim of the coaching staff. That 5th year kids are dispensible because they had their chance for 4 years.
Then you're not reading the posts carefully; nowhere in my post did i suggest that scholarships should be pulled, infact, I'm completely against it.

Concerning "dropping a few kids off scholarship" you said "What's wrong with that?" Does that sound like you are completely against it?

If you were to read the post previous to that abpk said "I don't see what you see so wrong in this." I simply made it into a question, then answered it.
