I guess I worded that wrong... but you are correct.

The Pens can't put teams away, so it doesn't matter who they play next, the road to the Cup ends for them. Please, please Pittsburgh, I beg you to prove me wrong.
It ain't over until it's over.

Should the flyers and rangers feel a bit mad about being the only teams that had 2 potential games scheduled back to back? I personally don't care and don't think it will hurt in the end but i wonder what the schedule process making was like. Most people predicted this series to get to 7 why put them in a position to play back to back nights?

The predictions of the series had less than 0 to do with the back to back games. Playoff hockey schedules have to do with 3 things... the first two being a combination of NBC and arena availability and the third being travel. The first two are the utmost important and depend on each other to work out in cohesion. Obviously teams can't play back to back to back but I'd say thats about all that is off limits as far as the restrictions go.
Remember a few years back the Pens/Red Wings played games 1/2 back to back (both won by Det yet still whined about after the series loss) in the Stanley Cup Finals.

I personally would rather have more back to back games! Especially after a game Tonight for the flyers. A lot of momentum was gained and its a lot easier to keep when you play the next day and not wait 2 or 3 days.
