Is it just me or is PSU's recruiting going down the drain? PSU had some real nice years when they got Williams and Morelli. They picked up some good 5 star recruits around 4-5 years ago. Now, they seem to be losing recruits to Rutgers, an up and coming Big East team. What is going on in the Lions Den?

I don't know, I think this class looks good. They have a lot of scholarships to offer this season, which helps. Rutgers is outrecruiting a lot of teams, Deliverance.

I agree with that, but Rutgers should not be outrecruiting PSU. That's just not right. I haven't seen what you're talking about with this years PSU class, yet. Maybe I have missed something.

The one thing I will always give the PSU staff is that they are able to find 3-star players who are very underrated. Other than those kids, we have a 5-star OT, a 4-star OT, a 4-star DT, and a 4-star CB that they already stole from Ohio State. Every one of those kids had offers to play at schools who are supposedly better than Penn State. What the did so far, thank God, is recruit positions. They attacked the secondary and have a ton of commits, we needed a Center, got one. ot another WR, which they needed. Still need a QB though. If Forcier picks someplace other than Penn State, I'll be pretty upset.

You must use Scouts. I use Rivals. Rivals does not have them with any 5-stars and only 3 4-stars. Only 7 3-stars, too. You know more about their recruits than I do, though. I haven't gotten around to watching any of their film. It just seemed like a weak class at first glance.

You should use Scout. They distribute the stars in a better way, and they review way, way more kids. All the kids in PSU's class so far have been reviewed. Plus, on Scout, you can watch the up-to-date commitments almost like it is a timetracker. I just think it's a lot better.

I like Scout because you can actually track who has scholarship offers, by position. Like, PSU targeted 3 QB's in the early recruiting period, now they are down to one who is still uncommitted. It can be a little tricky to find the info on there sometimes, if you want me to show you how to get any of that stuff, I'd be happy to walk you through it. I am so fascinated by the recruiting aspect of college football.
