personally i think nick jones is the crutch that holds the distance team up.
sure duece may run cross country but nick is so much better.

even though deuce has scholarships to 4 major colleges.

and he played 3 minutes of soccer and is a senior?

i'd have to say nick is a machine

slacker is somewhat right only difference is nick ran only the 2mile other than being part of the 4x800 relay which nick was the starting leg, and duece was the anchor and had the better time , Nick is a good 2miler the best in the county according to times but he has more energy because he races the first race and 2nd to the last race so he has a whole meet to rest. also the 2 mile isn't as broad as lets say the mile or 800 that is in district 5 of course if he ran any of duece's races he would get smoked as would duece in the 2mile they both have there own races.

moral of the story don;t compare yourself to somebody if you don;t even run in the same races!

Duece you think your so great. If you go to states and win it then you can talk. Till then get a life and quit bragging your self up.

I'm not bragging about duece but I don't like people who don't even compete in the same races to put others down winning states or even qualifying for the meet does not matter to this topic so slapnuts either quit while your ahead or get a life of your own.

also I have nothing against nick jones, nick is a good friend of mine and we made somewhat of a truce to stay out of each others races.

and also slacker soccer has nothing to do with track so keep that out of this forum who cares!

Agreed Dylan, Nick Jones is a beast of a runner. Can't even keep up at soccer practice, and I'm not that slow.

I know in soccer this year Duece was always up front in the running but I believe nick could of been with him but he didn’t try that hard. It was probably because nick already had a starting spot.

Since duece and Nick Jones have long graduate (class of 04), and their senior year was two years before now, how does this have any effect on the current NBC team?

For my 2 cents, having run against both, I think in the respective races they ran, they both ran times of about the same quality. Nick was in the high 10s his senior year in the two mile, and Eliot was in the high 4s (or low 5s) if I recall.

And I do have to agree with berlinchick on the spelling. Not because I am offended or anything, but mainly because I haven't quite grasped the Farmer Hall variation of English and can't hardly understand a darn thing he says.

Anyways, how is Northern Bedford's distance team looking? I think Ridge should be pretty strong and able to give them a run in most distances, at least if CC is any indication (which it depends on who comes out if it is to be one).
