How many WestPac games have you seen this year that allows you to come to this conclusion? I've seen one (1) SHL game so you might be right, but than again one the flip side..........CT could certainly surprise NB early on.

i agree with canubelieveit....i wouldnt be surprised to see only one sideling hill team in states this year

That would mean that CT would have to beat NBC AND Rockwood beat FM or TM lose to Berlin/Shank. Don't see it happening. Have to agree with hardball, SHL should be well represented in at least D5 playoffs.

Not True....it just means CT would have to beat NBC and Shade win their game. 2nd round loser of shade/ct wins consolation = 2 westpac, 1 sideling hill team in the states

These are the West lineups...expect that the players from the East will be in Thursday's edition.
District 5 basketball all-stars

BEDFORD — The 2nd Annual District 5 Athletic Directors Association all-star games will be held Monday at Bedford Area High School.
The girls game begins at 6 p.m. with the boys game set to tip off at 8. The games will feature an East vs. West format.
Somerset County players selected to the boys West team include Joel Kaminsky, Shade; Alijah Petrilla, North Star; Garrett Berkey, Shade; Riley Harrold, Rockwood; Josh Barnes, Shade; Luke Zellem, North Star; Shane Speicher, Shanksville; Brandon Kudasik, Shade; Matt Duray, Conemaugh Township; Michael Abramowich, Shanksville; Tyler Sechler, Meyersdale; Mike Clark, Windber.
Shade’s Wade Fyock will serve as the West boys head coach.
County players selected to the girls West team include Sara Pelesky, North Star; Jackie Kimmel, Berlin; Jess Tomlinson, North Star; Nikki Garrety, Conemaugh Township; Nicole Sterner, Rockwood; Beth Coddington, Berlin; Courtney Bowman, Rockwood; Lacey Lowry, Shanksville; Janet Ayres, Johnstown Christian; Janna Kauffman, Johnstown Christian; Nikki Smith, North Star.
Berlin’s Rachel Prosser will serve as the West girls head coach.

Is this an all-senior tournament? How are the players selected?

It appears that it is all seniors. I'm interested in seeing what districts the players are from that make up the EAST. May be the Bedford Cty schools since the game is in Bedford? I'm asking cause I don't know.

East is made up of players from Bedford and Fulton counties.
