WT, would you have not deleted my Blazing Saddles analogy if I had said you & PA were the leading AR$E WHOLES in the State?

Here's what's kind of funny. Last year, BM lost in the LHAC finals and they blamed the officials, especially one guy from FH. THIS year in the playoffs, they lost by such a big margin that they couldn't blame the officiating, so their NEW strategy was to say that "well, we weren't supposed to do much in basketball anyway. We actually overachieved." Defense mechanisms?

Lol

serious questions

Anyone recall any player scoring this much in the playoffs in D6 (or D5 even)?

Besides Hoffman, who else scored 2000+ in the LHAC?

WT, I would much rather take this kid over Spaid or Hoffman, he is scoring more and getting it done by himself, and he is NOT 6 6. This kid deserves a D1 shot, can not think of a better player in recent years, he is just on another level.

An eerily similar stats that Jordan Miller is putting up reminds me of the older Nastasi, Joe, and his memorable offensive performance at UPJ vs. the Kevin Price WPIAL champs or runner-ups from Duquesne...not sure about the high school...

I am sure Head Roadie can confirm the school...

But that night, Joe Nastasi was on fire. I think he lit up the scoreboard for 48 points. Lots of them from deep, deep 3 point range. All I can remember was the opposing fans in awe of the offensive display. I am talking three point bombs from 28 feet and beyond.

Does anyone else remember that game from a small D5, class A game?

JM will be a good fit at a D2 school. For example there is a kid named Nick Novak from Franklin Regional in the WIPIAL that is putting up similiar numbers vs better competition. The reason that no D1's are on them heavy is there not athletic enough.

I know some people will get mad at that comment but its reality. There are a million players who can score the basketball, but can you defend the basketball. Could you imagine JM trying to gaurd a L.Fields from Pitt, or a Ty. Lawson from UNC.

I know those are 2 high class point gaurds but every D1 team has those type of players.
JM is good right where he is at. UPJ

Miller could definently compete at the D1 level. He may not be as athletic as some of these guys but he's a great basketball player and scorer. Steve Nash isn't that athletic either..

I think this is a case of people telling Jordan he's not d1 material and he believed it. Now he's starting to show everyone (including himself) what he can really do.

3 Comments:

1) BM did make the LH finals last yr & lost by a point or two to an excellent CC team& the game was officiated by a FH weasel who is a Hater....and BTW, BM did win D6

2) This yr. BM won their section in the LHAC & won the championship game of the LHAC

3) Crawl back under your rock

know that's 'kind of funny'
