If McCort spread the wealth, why did Del Rosario have fewer assists per game?

1 Luke G.(not by much)
2 Cliff E.
3 Mason D.
All very solid players, but Luke and Cliff are little more dynamic basketball players than Mason. If you’re preparing your team to play against Luke your whole defensive game plan will be geared towards stopping him. A basketball player who can take over a game scoring or distributing the basketball is very tough. If he was a defensive stopper than he would be really special.
Mason really doesn’t demand the attention a Luke G would. Inconsistent jump shot and he really struggled penetrating the defense. To be honest he can be easy to guard at times He is by far a better defender than Luke G, and stronger. He is the best decision maker out of the 3.
Than you have Cliff E. Very explosive, athletic, and fearless. He is just a competitor like no one else in the LHAC. I believe he scored in double digits in every playoff game this year. Cliff and Luke are playing for the PaPride AAU basketball team. That’s the same team that P.Weatherly, N.Novak, A.Raymond, A.Lyttle, L.Mickens, A. Anthony, "all of which have D2 or higher offers on the table". The reason I brought this up is because not only did Cliff make his team, but M.Adams the head coach of Gateway and the 17u coach asked to move Cliff up to play in the higher age group. That speaks volumes on the ability that the kid has.
All three players are very good and hopefully will be very successful the next two seasons.
This is just my opinion, and my point of view from someone who actually has coached against Mason.D and Luke G. And being that I coached Cliff E I feel I have a pretty good idea of where these players stand right now in their high school career.

MD is not even comparable to Gallahar. I wonder if any of these people even watched Gallahar play this season. MD did not impress me for the most part all year, and what if he were surrounded with the players Gallahar had? I'd say he'd struggle a lot. Give Gallahar a 6'7" Center like Dill and you're talking D6 champs easily. In my opinion there are other sophomores in the LH better than MD.
Sgt, I didn't mean track.. but I'm sure Gallahar could definently compete in the sprinting/jumping events if he wasn't such a good baseball player

So Schrey had MOST of McCort's assists? He must not have given the ball to Del Rosario that much then, if MD had only 7.7 ppg.

Why are LG, MD, and CE the only one we're talking about? Zach Drennen from Westmont is better than all three of them he just didn't get the chance to play like the others did.

drennen- pts- 3.3 pg rebounds- 2.0 pg....good stats for a bench player. however playing for the hilltoppers shouldnt he of started over depriest all year and not just towards the end if he truely is better than delrosario who started for lhac champion crushers. or eddins who played for d6aaa champion johnstown trojans. or even gallaher who had less to work with but had the best numbers. drennen will be a GOOD lhac big man.

Drennen wasn't the reason that he sat on the bench, it was the coaching. Just wait and see, Drennen will be the best player of the three. Drennen shot 100% from the foul line all year. And he took a lot of foul shots.

what does the foul line have to do with anything? the best foul shooter could be the worst basketball player because he might not be able to play defense or pass or rebound. not saying zach is bad just stating that the foul line doesnt mean much unless you shoot 100+ foul shots a year

Malzi from Richland should be included in your discussion. He's raw but he's a heady player. Has a knack for puting himself in good position. With some summer work, he could be good.
