Tough night for vman. Pitt lost and the Rangers won. Wearing that eagle suit, I'll bet he started to molt when he heard that FH score.

He'll look pretty smart if he wears it the next 3 or 4 years though.

Agreed. lil Franco was the best quarterback on the field, and as a sophomore proved he is already better than one of the best qb's in the LHAC (Glesner). The Tyrone team was very young and overmatched, but they gave it a good fight. FH should have won this game by atleast 20 if not more, but give credit to Tyrone for stopping them in the redzone a couple of times.

How can you say Franco was the best Qb on the field. 2 INT's , 2 long passes ( 1 was a screen). In my book managing the game and taking care of the ball, seems to be the key to helping win a game. Also a rushing TD and a passing TD for Glessner. Franco is good but, don't get me wrong, but I think senior leadership was the key to Victory, (and the right foot of Pat Donahue)

I agree mastermind, lil Franco is good but lacks the big game leadership because he is young. It will come with time, they are a really young team. It is a shame that the quarterback that has the big game leadership was stuck at tailback.Don't worry we all haven't seen the last of #6 Reihart you will see him in Division 1 football making those 50 yard punts.

Franco's first INT was into the wind and died. His second was to end the game on a hail mary attempt. Tyrone had no running game, a sophomore quarterback almost lead his team, which was outmanned to say the least, to a D6 title. I've seen Glessner put in the same situation and throw 4 or 5 picks. Don't get me wrong I love FH and I loved watching Glessner the past 3 seasons, but give credit where credit is due. Highschool quarterbacks don't exactly 'manage games' they just run what the coaches call.. not many hots or checks at the line

lakersfan24, First of all maybe lil Franco should have thrown the ball harder into the wind on his first INT. 2nd how many INT's has Glessner thrown this year? I am talking SENIOR LEADERSHIP. Why did Glessner score a rushing TD in the D6 championship? He was taking care of the ball and not forcing things as in years past , SENIOR LEADERSHIP. High school QB's do manage games. By the time a QB gets to be a senior, and comes up through the system, he has seen mostly every situation on the field. Therefore ,can adapt and call "hots or checks" at the line. As I said before SENIOR LEADERSHIP.

It doesn't hurt when you rush 60 times for 400 yards and throw 5 times..

No offense to Glessner, he's a good highschool quarterback.. but Franco is going to be a special player.

There was no need for FH to pass the ball. Tyrone was VERY small upfrnt and got manhandled by FH's line all night. I watched Glessner play in two big games last year and as a FH fan I am worried for this week because Wilmington is HUGE upfront and will probably take away the run. Glessner seems to be extremely nervous in big games. Stated in another thread he threw 10 int. in two big games. A team will nevr win wih that production. Hopefully his senior leadership gives him confidence for this game because he will be thowing a bunch.

A side note. Did anyone know tha Burns is being recruited by Pitt as a LB. This kid must be a beast and Wilmingtons D must be the rea deal.
