In all seriousness, weren't there people who were optimistic about this season? I dont even know what to say anymore. The last inning of Pirates baseball that I watched was 3 seasons ago, and that was the first game I had seen in years. I only went bc there were free tickets.
I can never remember the word for it, but theres a word for a business who knows they are making a very substandard product but still makes a profit on it.
I really dont know how you guys have endured the Pirates.

never said that they would finish .500 just saying that they are learning how to win games like some good teams dojust waiting for alveraz n tabata n lincoln 2 come up. the Pirates are doing it the right way . i know it has been 17 yearsbut be patient just a little longer

Looks pretty good today. They've already given up 4 runs in 3 innings with a lineup that has 3 hitters that are hitting under .200. David Freese is hitting cleanup. Impressive.
