Lost to Purchase Line 6-0!?!
Got beat by McCort by 100
Lost to Bellwood by 20.
They can beat up on the WestPac all they want, but come District time, they don't have it. And with the late 90's early 2000's Windber....The Ramblers were much much better. They played with BC and won some big games, the Stangs have yet to prove they are a good team outside of the regular season
I agree with you a little except for the fact that most of the above is not true. Just as this year, the year Portage lost to Purchase Line it was all new players starting, that team wasn't expected to do much and still went undefeated, they barely got by Ferndale so that should tell you enough. If McCort was playing in the class they should be Portage may have had a shot 2 years ago. Plus the loss to Bellwood last year was 9 not 20. Like I said Bellwood is the clear favorite, I don't think anyone else other than maybe BC sticks out from the rest.

Lost by 16 to bellwood. And the year they lost to mccort, bellwood was up at the point stadium against bm,and mccort beat portage by 40 at a neutral field. No chance does portage win

yeah last year portage fell 28-12 to bellwood, and if portage played bellwood in 2008 they would've sitll lsot by 40+ as they did to mccort. bellwood played mccort mighty tough that year and came up to the point and nearly gave salem his first home playoff lost as a coach.

Seems no one gives any of the Heritage schools much credit PM is a fast team with a good QB, Homer is a solid team with a young QB and United has a good D and strong running game I wouldn't count any of them out. There are 4 teams (PM,LV,HC,U) that 5 wins or more. Not to shabby 7 games in. All the teams here have a chance that's why they play the game.

I agree 110% about the Comets being a scary team also. You can't name LV in this topic though because they're AA. I got to watch Homer first hand against Portage in a scrimmage and no offense to you or them but they were totally unimpressive then and portage's offense did whatever they wanted against them. Could they have grown and gotten better as the season has gone on?....Definately. I don't know much about United this season so no need for me to try and comment on them.

Homer has grown, their QB if I'm not mistaken had never played that position until this year and he was forced into it because of injury. So far they have reeled of 5 wins in a row.
