Imperioli came in relief and looked pretty good once goodling is healthy this could be a very dangerous team in the districts with their pitching staff

I just would like to put another name into the mix of all this... I have been to a couple of games this year for Johnstown and have been very impressed with Alex Merriman. He is a young junior and has been pretty impressive and consistant for the trojans. There has not been much talk about him, but i do believe that he will be one of the top pitchers for the trojans next year. He has a real nice curve ball and does well. I have been pretty impressed by him.

I am not really sure what you mean by that, so you should really explain further.

Looks like he had a chance to pitch against Somerset in the playoff game. How did that go?

Yes he did have the chance against somerset in the playoffs...he did not do well in that game and he was not the only one that was having problems, his defense was not behind him at all. several errors where made by the entire team.. oh and it is called a team for a reason. He pitched the first game of a double header 11 days prior and pitched a complete game and they won that game.. This was the first win for johnstown over somerset in i believe 9 years. he must have done something right in that game. They never should have pitched him again against them. that was a huge coaching mistake.
