Exactly the point! But it's not like the parade is over, is it.

FH will be a really good team and contend for LHAC and D6 titles but won't be as dominant as last couple of years, imho. Kinda like the pens

Be polite about the comments on sub-par coaches at Johnstown. They have a tremendous staff that help get those kids to the next level, but more important than football, they help them get to college to make their future better. Please be considerate with the comments and remember family of the coaching staff may be on here!

Heard the same story last year when Gdula, Hinderliter, Donoughe, and Oshaben all graduated from the line. Every year FH loses a bunch of good players.. with how uncompetitive the rest of the conference has been besides Jtown and BM in the last couple of seasons, I'll be surprised if FH isn't somewhere near the top.

Yea you did hear that^^ but its different now. FH is back to back champs. 2009 Seasons line had veterans, such as, Gdula, Obshaben, and Hinderliter with the likes of Glacken and Ondrejik. Now every person on the line that played the last TWO championship games are gone. I feel FH has really lost a lot of talented these last two years, even 3 years ago. Just think about the players they have lost in the last three years; (2009) McCarty, Kmetz, Paulson, Geyer, Mehall, Rosenberger, (2010) Gdula, Moss, Oshaben, Lazration, Hinderliter, Donoughe,Glessner, WIngard, and NOW deal with the losses of Dudukovich, Meier, Kulka, Helsel, McCombie, Glacken, and Ondrejik. NOW I do feel they will be right up in the top of the LHAC and contend for the D6AA Title again, BUT I feel this year they will be less feared and more susceptible. With all this said, this shows WHY FH is always on top, they show they can rebuild year after year and be just as good as anyone in the area. (Minus 07-08 season :P)

I'm not sure what the point of your post was. You started about by refuting my post, and ended up somehow agreeing with everything I said. FH has been replacing great players yearly for a while now, it didn't start in 2009. People said Glessner would never fill Rearick's shoes, he did. People said Dudukovich would never fill Mehall's shoes, he did. People said Justin Gdula would never fill Glessner shoes, he did. Your post did nothing but prove that FH reloads and is highly competitive every year. Last year, Ondreick and Glacken were the only 2 who had experience on the line coming back. This year, FH returns Ohler, Brydon, and Sanders on the line. I'm not sure how that is any different at all.. Maybe your son played on the 2009-2010 team because you seem to bring them up in every post somehow or bring up Gdula and Moss. Life goes on at FH, and with the level of competition in the LHAC they will be in somewhere in the top 3 with McCort and Jtown.

I think FH will be fine this year (if the seniors step up and become leaders, that is) the problem is after this year it looks like things will be going on a down swing for a few years.

The biggest problem for this year's team isnt the skilled players, isnt even the o-line, its the front 7 on defense. Aside from big Jon Sanders, there is virtually no size. Pinkas needs to beef up and be the stud LB, or it looks like this could be the year Brandon gets his first win against Don

@ Lakersfan24......my point was to say they will be less feared. But I will agree that they will be at the top of the LHAC again, like they are every year. AND ALSO, If you think Ohler, Sanders or Brydon are anything like, McCarty, Gdula, Hinderliter...YOUR NUTS.

The competition has been going down in the LHAC since 2004. Also who cares if a team is feared? If they are winning games and at the top in the conference does it matter? Also you are bringing up about losing kids. It happens every year a team loses a bunch of talent. I can tell you I didn't believe FH had enough to go that far last year. It wasn't about how good they were, it boiled down to how pathetic this area is becoming at football. You can go back 6-7 years and there was atleast 5-6 teams that could beat anyone on any day. Last year, there were two good teams and two average to good teams. That's it, the rest of the league was bad.

As for the WR. Shope can be a good wide out. Football is in his blood. I can't comment on Burkey because I don't think I have ever seen him play on offense.
