So, with all that standardized mathematics and geography you get at a private school, one could use your argument and infer that McCort has a distinct advantage over other schools in this area because they have a larger pool to draw from. You can draw from a much larger area than ANY public school in this area.

The public schools in this area have been making the same argument you have been making when it was suggested McCort be put in the same playoff system as West Catholic.

Doesn't feel good to be on that end of it, does it?

Buck up and train harder. Maybe you'll be competitive with them someday.

Crimson,

Obviously you know how to Google and look up statistics, your probably great at texting too. Here is your "Blueprint" for Level 2, what is the correlation between population and number of private/charter/public schools available to individuals in the Philadelphia area? Your challenge begins in 5,4,3,2,1......

I think, but am not sure, that Conemaugh Valley has a male 10-12th grade population of about 95. Is that less than half the population of Cambria county, half of Somerset county and one from Indiana county?

I think theres 20 some of each if I had to bet, point being....While McCort and Carroll are both in Cambria county, nobody really crosses over....Nobody from Johnstown is going to BC and nobody from Nanty Glo is coming to Bishop McCort. Within the groundswork of the Philly Schools, you can go wherever you want! If you are a good Basketball player, you can all attend Imhotep Charter if you want. You don't see much of that on this end of the State. When BC wasn't any good at Football, you didn't really see kids from up that end of the county come to McCort. Just my two cents on that. But if an AAU team with all D1 prospects with two kids from inner city Philly, 1 from Camden, New Jersey 1 from Chester and 1 from Bucks County, realistically they could all play for Roman Catholic. Catch my drift....Or are you still looking at things while sipping your own Kool-Aid. The framework of the schools are in the same category but go in a complete opposite direction after that. I mean try to sway things your way any way you want, but you know what I'm saying is right. The Philadelphia Schools are a different Animal, and you and I both know that.

And let me make this clear because some of you are getting this miscomprehended, I'm not saying if the Catholic Schools separated from Public that if Bishop McCort and West Catholic were in the same classification it wouldn't be fair. I'm not saying that, I wouldn't complain if that is who we got matched up with. You play who you have to play. Some people do not understand that. I don't think it would be a problem like I said before the only D6 team I recall playing a District 12 State ranked team was Bishop McCort. That's stepping up and trying to better yourself if I've ever seen it. So if Catholic Schools did separate I wouldn't complain much, you can't fight things out of your control, unless you are from a Public School and expect everything to go in your own favor....But Hey thats another story.

All I am saying with comparing the two is this, In principle the Catholic Schools from here and Philly are the same. But realistically you and I both know they are very, very different. Whether you admit it or not. It is not fair to compare the two, but it is fair if we have to play them. So some of you lose your own argument, because I am saying, I WOULD NOT COMPLAIN IF BISHOP MCCORT WOULD PLAY ANY CATHOLIC SCHOOL.

So keep digging.

Maybe that's why BM doesn't play them. No advantage.
