sportsfan1000: Why did you bring me up again concerning the FH/Johnstown scrimmage? Under the topic of "Week 1 scrimmages", my ONLY entries concerned the Reed kid who played for McCort in THEIR scrimmage. I made NO comments about the FH/Johnstown scrimmage. I wasn't even there. SOOO...get those facts straight again. Thanks!!

Congrats to Brandon Bailey and the Rams. They were the better of the two teams tonight. It had been a "quarter of a century" since Richland beat FH on the gridiron. And in several of those years, FH beat them twice: once in the regular season and once in the playoffs. Who knows, Temple hasn't beaten Penn State since October 18, 1941. Maybe one of these days.........

So Moldy, I've heard all about it from the Richland faithful. Whats your take on what went down in Sidman? I trust you more then them, I'm sure then inflated things a bit. My main question was Richland that good, Forest Hills that bad, or a bit of both?

Not really sure what happened. Hopefully FH can regroup their forces and get ready for Westy, BC, BG, and CH in the weeks to come and get to 4-1.

Well 4-0 in those next 4 should be very doable. I'm really looking forward to Richland @ Johnstown week 4. Really be a true test for the Rams.

Any Westmont-Bishop Carroll report?

Not much to say about the McCort game. Cooper can throw. Leech, Wilson, and Spangler can go get it. Gap Barbin may be undersized, but possibly the best defensive linemen in the LHAC. Central Cambria seemed to have some athletes, everything isn't put together just yet. Passing game was an adventure. Coaching staff will get it together.

Also, Who played QB for Richland? Rizzo in the "Wild Ram" , I'm sure. How about the two sophomores, Pecora and Schaffer?

There were 3 pages of FH picks and countless remarks about how Richland wouldn't be able to win and now that the unthinkable has come crashing down amongst the bleacher creatures they are left wondering what happened? I would tell you, but since I am one of those untrustworthy Richland faithful you wouldn't believe me. Lucky for you all, you can watch it tomorrow on Root TV. Enjoy:
