JD, you must have been so flustered you missed this in my post:

Going from a public school to private or vice versa is completely allowable under PIAA rules.

And yes, Rizzo is a great player, we are very fortunate to have him, and very glad he decided to get his education at his home district public school. Thanks for taking notice.

Mr. criticize HS kid's education La Molda, continues to use a non word! Irregardless is recognized, because so many pin-heads use it, as an erroneous word that means the exact opposite of what it is used to express. Saying Irregardless is like saying: noninattentive, unnegligent, unneglectful, nonindifferent, nonunconcerned. etc.....have a great proper word usage day B-)

So your all happy as can be that Johnny came to Richland. But had he started at Richland and gone to McCort you'd whine and moan about recruiting. Hypocrisy.

thebrigade: So in the middle of a discussion about "playoffs being just around the corner", you ask about the Fyocks??????? WHY??? Everyone knew where your question was leading. No secret there.

vman: We had this discussion a few years ago. Irregardless is a word and is found in most dictionaries. If we were playing scrabble, it would be accepted as a word. Nice try though.

Yes, we are ecstatic that he decided to come to Richland, and even more so that we did not recruit him nor offer to pay him to attend. #WINNING!

And McCort has clinched their 31st consecutive winning season, while Richland has had what maybe 10 in that stretch, maybe. And McCort has played in the district title game 9 of the last 10 years, while winning 5 of them. While Richland has an outstanding one playoff win in that time. #WINNING!

Off topic, Jack, but that's okay. Deflection seems to be the biggest tool on your belt. Oh, and concerning Richland's, or any other public school's record, please keep in mind the big difference: We didn't buy ours with scholarship money for recruited athletes. A major difference which will likely fall on deaf ears. I wish I could agree with you about the winning tradition at McCort, but for the aforementioned reasons they will always have an asterisk next to them in my, and lots of people's, book.
