Is that ADD? What does lights and Holidaysburg have to do with the topic at hand? Start a new post if you want to talk about another topic. I'm not knocking NBC, in fact I think they will win the game. I simply stated I think it will be closer than what some may think.

Yes Lemmy, its true. As is your consolidation with Tussey Mountain. Enjoy sending your kids to Pinchot Road High School. We will see you in AA, and I'm not worried about it.

bbsocceralumni wrote:Brigade I really don't need your opinion. You disagree with everything I say. The competition is better this year but overall D5 is down. Stop arguing the truth. Just because a team has a better record than last year does not mean they are better than last year.

lol this is an opinion board, wow.. last year your on here taughting how berlin is gonna score on wpial because of your brother and now when everyone on here states the westpac overall is better then last year you take offense because of your brother. remember BB i am the one giving all the teams credit for being better. YOU are the one arguing with my post. we all know the year of the sayler will never be matched in the westpac again. lol overall records dont matter, then what the hell do we judge it by.. rushing, ok.. more rushing yards in westpac then last year.. passing? more passing yards in westpac this year. how about sacks.. more this year, you just come on like last year to argue anyones point. go back and look at your posts BB how many start with I DISAGREE... to disagree is fine but dont get pissy with one post and state i disagree, every post you did last year on your predictions i agreed with 90%. but as soon as someone questions you it turns into a I DONT NEED YOUR OPIONION, grow up man, i cant even give credit to these schools without you taking offense to it. those of us stating they are better have been to multilple games and seen multiple teams play. how many games have you actually been to that werent berlin?

S Cube wrote:This years field is very competitive. As people have been saying, I wouldn't be surprised if any of the top 5 teams wins it. Last year, going in, all signs pointed to a Berlin/Northern Bedford battle of the unbeatens in the finals, until North Star crashed the party. North Star is tough to bet against in this years field, but they are definitely beatable by anyone who can slow down their passing attack. Key words there are slow down. I don't think anyone can completely shut down Max and Tony, but if you can hold Tony to 3-4 receptions and only 1 TD you give yourself a nice chance.

Friday night I'll take NB over Meyersdale. Northern Bedford has a nice balanced offense and a pretty solid defense. NB lost a ton to graduation, but the two areas where they will be stronger in the playoffs this year will be the secondary and having a healthy Logan Fluke. The secondary is bigger and more athletic than last year, which I think will give them a good chance at beating North Star if they can make it that far. Meyersdale hasn't beaten a .500 team yet and I don't think they will get it done this week. Should be a nice playing surface Friday, Panther Community Stadium is probably in better shape than any grass surface in Central PA.

On Saturday I'll take Conemaugh Twp over Berlin. No home field advantage hurts here. Does CT's soccer team play on the football field? I personally hate when soccer teams play a lot of games on the football fields. That my friends is where the damage to the playing surface comes from, not the one or two football games a week. Anyway, I really like Townships balance on offense. They can with running and throwing the ball, and Sam Zam will have his team well prepared. I'm also impressed with the season Berlin has put together. They did a real nice job of picking up right where last years team left off and seem to be playing their best football at the right time. Haven't seen Berlin play this year, but by the looks of things Jacob Craig has been on a mission.
yes they do cube and the soccer players got senior night on the field while the football team went to somerset.

Since DragonFootball2001 picks against NB nearly every week he is about 3-19 over the last two years.

For being a teacher and a coach, your reading comprehension is pretty poor. I said NB should get the win tonight, but thought it would be a closer game than expected, as the NB faithful were not giving full credit to Meyersdale. I also said that clearly the WestPac is much stronger than the ICC and therefore you had to give some credence to strength of schedule. This is factual, in that your Panthers are the only ICC team in the D5 A playoffs, and most logical people would pick both North Star and Windber hands down against your boys.

Congrats on a good win tonight Coach, very impressive play in the second half. Good luck with Windber next week. I'll be sure to pick the Ramblers and I'm certain you'll have less to say about it after the game.

I know very well that Windber is an excellent team. I just don't understand your negativity towards NBC all the time, especially if you are a Central guy.

There are only 3 ICC teams in D5. The ICC is primarily a D6 league. Of course the 10? Westpac teams are going to be better than the 3 ICC teams.
