Never going to happen. Sponsky will have better offers than Altoona. If he wanted that job he would have taken it a couple of years ago. I also heard he was on leave.

I heard the Kepharts transferred back to Portage. Any truth to this? After the season Portage had I am sure the Mustang staff will forget how mad they were at them for leaving.

MY GOD!!!!!! But what about their education??????????? I mean wasn't the older brother shafted by Portage in the education department???? Of course Portage has NO choice in accepting them back. But after what the dad had to say about how his son was treated, this is a joke.

I would be surprised if BC has a football team next year. I hear players and non athletes are leaving left and right.

That would be a double transfer for at least one of the Kepharts.

Yes they were both back at Portage today. Seems like many more transfers to public/mccort/guilfoyle(if they live in parts of cresson/gallitzen/ashville/coupon/dysart they might go to Guilfoyle im thinking) to come in the near future from the BC players.

The success that BC has had was not because of players like the Kepharts or Josh Barzdo. Good riddance. There was a time when this was a team.

What Craig, Meck, Tim Lucko and Jon Serenko did was make a bunch of kids realize how good they could be if they wanted to play like a team, not like a bunch of individuals. I don't think Craig could do this on his own.
Three straight Western finals, that was an accomplishment that speaks as to the team concept.

(one of my all time favorite posts on here was Kepharts daddy last year explaining why his kids transferred to BC. LMAO)

I agree with the coaching and you see that this year. Also, if you look more into BC a sports friendly principal the better the football team was. When Coach/Prin Koren was there the program turned around, Meckey was the same thing her husband coached she cared about athletics and knew how important they were to the students. When Wolfe was there football was terrible, it was all education and exchange students. Lucko see Koren. Now you have, well I don't know what you have all I know its all negative and not looking good. Craig had some good people behind him and supported whether it be coaches or administration but recently with the exception of Lucko it hasn't been that way. I heard Craig has been let go, and thats terrible it had to end like that if true. Someone is going to get a good coach and I hope they play BC.

I don't think BC will have a football program next year, with Craig out who is going to take over. And how many students will be at the school, let alone be on the football team.

Maybe the diocese can run a shuttle bus between High St. and Osborne St.
