Crosby and Malkin would be selected by most hockey writers. Franzen isn't even one of the best 2 players on his own team!

Using your logic, I guess that means Zach Parise is better than Giroux since he made the Flyers look like idiots?

Stats don't matter remember? Crosby 1.4 pts per game, Giroux .85. It's whoevers team wins = Best player!

Again Crosby does not play defense. Not even a good 2way player.

If Crosby were a Flyer, he would be the "best" defensive forward in the game. I will end by saying this, when Giroux wins a scoring title and leads the Flyers to a Stanley Cup win, we will discuss further. I think we have a long time until we continue this.

Thank you for this conversation. No Nhl makes life boring. NFL is once a week. College basketball is just starting and I hate NBA

Agreed. Great sport. Anytime you want to debate regarding how bad Fleury is overrated, you will get no arguments here.
