I don't believe playing 4 qtrs will be an issue with Richland. They are deep and very well conditioned. One thing I noticed Friday was that McCort was not conditioned as well as they should be. When your on the low end regarding numbers and depth you better have your kids conditioned. But last year Richland didn't have an issue being ready to play 4 qtrs come playoff time.

Most teams, when they have a dominant performance ( lets say for the sake of argument a 35 point lead, running clock), will have their starters play at least the first series of the 2nd half.

You got to find a happy medium between still throwing passes with a 36 point lead late in the 3rd quarter, and keeping the starters in long enough not to get them hurt.

More issues/problems at BMHS!!!

Girls cross country, a BMHS girl punched a Forest Hill's girl as the FH girl was attempting to pass her. What a shame? What has that place come to? How will BMHS handle this and other issues/ problems that are on the horizon? If it's anything like past issues/problems it will be swept under the carpet.

Maybe she expected the FH girl to turn the other cheek.

I hear we now have a McCort parent getting out of control at a girls soccer game against Westmont. Making racist remarks about an opposing player. They just keep surrounding themselve's with negative stuff.

Unless someone took some bleachers down, this is the only stadium in D6/LHAC with one set of bleachers for all fans. And I am not sure where exactly the opposing student sections plan on sitting.

It would be simple enough to designate the areas for fans.

My hope is that the fans, adult and student alike, behave themselves and that the refs are not the ones from Windber or the ones who called the FH-BM debacle.
Ligonier Valley only has one set of stands. The fans are mixed although they tend to sit on opposite ends and only mix in the middle. Last week against PM there really weren't any problems. A little trash talk but not too bad. It got loud from LV fans when they went up at the end but the got REAL quiet when PM won.

For a few years now PM players have gone to the end zone to pray before every game. This is done on an individual basis and not as a team. Last year the BM parents were making fun of them doing this as though they didn't have a right to do this since they are not a Catholic school. I think pretty much all of the players do this but it is an Individual decision. And I personally am proud that they do.
