I think the best part of this argument is picturing the poking and munching of an ankle

Put your goggles on.... Those kids did things after the whistle was blown. Dirty plays are dirty plays.
And hank you are making my point of a dirty play! He didn't let go!!! Whistle was blown and he held on to a kids ankle! What happens then? Well his teammate jumps on top of the leg and the kid. If you don't find that dirty and just football well you just live in the mud. I was always taught when the whistle is blown you stop and let go of the player, not hold on and stack up on him.

But you don't see anything, you can only see the punches being thrown. He didn't let go right away, how's that so dirty? If he were gnawing on his new Nike's then maybe I'd agree with you.

He had the kids ankle and didn't let go a good second or two after the whistle.... That's dirty in my books. Let alone his teammate doing the even more dirty thing.

Do you honestly think the kids come over, got into prayer group, saw their teammate had a hold of the kids ankle and had an opportunity to inflict pain, huddled back up to decide their plan of attack, took it to a vote, then decided they wanted to hurt him, then jumped on top to inflict as much pain as possible. I don't think so

I'm the guy who considers chop and cut blocking to be extremely dirty plays! Maybe I'm a greenie weenie but health should always be the #1 concern of every adult watching football

you could also consider the reaction #34 for Homer...I believe he was a standout back for the wildcats. I would have to assume he's been on the bottom of quite a few piles...is this typical for him to respond in the way he did? Any Homer fans have an insight on this?
