Some more submission - Linemen
OL Andrew Berger Sr Bishop Guilfoyle 6-4 265 - Berger was a pre season all state selection and has not let anyone down. Great drive blocker and helps open big holes for the BG offense. Quick off the ball for his size. Has good feet and pass blocks well. He does have a tendancy to get high.
OL Arrington Gipson Sr Aliquippa 6-2 295 Big strong run blocker that can really move people. Excellent drive blocker and quick for a big man. Conditioning could have been better as he tends to fade off, but the Quips usually make short work of most opposition.
OL Anthony Davidson Sr South Fayette - 6-2 230 Protecting the top Quarterback in the state is no easy task. Great pass block with good technique. Not a drive block guy, very good in the zone blocking scheme
OL Nick Bonsell Jr Tyrone Area - 6-1 240 Perhaps the best on a vaunted line for Tyrone. Starting with Chestnut Ridge the Eagles road the right side of the line to the state semi final. Strong and quick off the ball, and really knows how to finish those drive blocks. Was matched with pre season all state Hickory DL Austin Aikens, where he owned him on both sides of the ball
OL Israel Melvin Sr Clairton - Pre season all state selection as well. Big physical kid, great drive blocker. Pulls and traps very well. Drive blocker, Needs to punch better and stay off his heels in pass protection. Should be interesting when Mr Berger lines up opposite him in the final this week
OL Ben Johnson Sr Philipsburg - 6'1 230 We would have heard more about this kid if his team could win a game. Has a great motor and finishes his blocks downfield. Doesn't take plays off and is able to reach the second level.
Others I would consider
OL Ryan Bouslough Sr Bellwood Antis
OL Josh Fye Jr Bald Eagle Area
OL Garrett Varner Jr Forest Hills
OL Austin Aikens Sr Hickory
