Keep in the back of your mind the schools that have ongoing construction so the schedules, and venues, are somewhat flexible. Windber playing home games at Shade. As of this post, FH is planning to have all home games in Sidman as per usual, but parking is a premium. Any others I've missed?

Mount Union is probably at least a 6-7 win team next year if everyone comes back and stays healthy. Lost a lot to graduation (a mild understatement), but still have both starting running backs coming back and a good bit on the lines. The recent success hopefully will breed further success in the future and get the athletes who have not been playing football to come out and play. I know they've got a weight room program going, not sure how it's been attended, but they just recently expanded it from after school to before school as well.

Mccort would be near the bottom of the LHAC next season even if Bill Belichick was their coach. They simple don't have the talent right now.

Mo Valley has Sherkel back. I don't know much more about them but that's enough to know. Football isn't a one man game but having a kid like him makes everyone around him a little better.

West Branch will have a new coach. They have a Coble boy that was pretty tough in JH at running back.
Glendale lost a lot of starters from last year
I agree with MV being the odds-on favorite in the Silver, as they return basically everybody -- sans some stud defenders at LB and DE. Sherkel is good, there's no denying that, but MV started several sophomores last season and should be competitive in D-6 Class A for 2015 and 2016. They'll have five linemen returning that started at least five games (lost one starter to graduation and a starter from last year missed half the season with an injury) and their top receivers are back as well. The MV running game could be even better this year, while Sherkel is still a threat to throw for 1,000 and rush for 1,000 again. The freshmen this year will add some pieces, but I'm hearing the next group to keep an eye on is the class that will be in eighth grade.

The Warriors hired a new coach a week or two back in Kevin Hubler, who is the son of former HC Gary Hubler. Hubler was the man in charge when WB won a D-6 title in the late 80s and made an appearance in the 1997 title game. I think the hope is (with Kevin being in his mid-20s) he'll bring interest into the program and get the school's best athletes out for football again. Most of them have played -- and won district titles -- soccer for P-O in a co-op or just focused on basketball (2nd seed in AA playoffs). It will be interesting to see how they adapt to the game after not being in the sport for so long (provided they come out). Something of interest to keep an eye on is whether or not Hubler brings the freshmen up from JH like Smeal did. It only gained Smeal 2 or 3 bodies, but Hubler might be better off leaving them down if he has numbers in his favor. Coble is very good and another name to watch out for is Derek Yingling (freshman-to-be)

The Vikings, I think, will be in for a few more years similar to 2014. I think there was some talent on their Jr. High team this year, but they did move all freshmen to JV/varsity. It could be 2 or 3 more years until we see some of those guys. Glendale will be graduating its top three or four offensive threats and top three or four OL/DL.

A- Berlin, BG, Bellwood
AA- Tyrone, Bedford, Central
AAA- Somerset

would be top teams in the area IMO.

Surprised how many are still picking CR to challenge in AA.

Somerset still should be really solid.

Bedford bring back everyone.

Berlin has one of most explosive players in the State and for an A team that can take you a ways.

May be right, but they will make playoffs and anything can happen from there. All depends if they can groom a line or not.
