Sometimes in these conversations we only think about football. We have yet to begin to discuss other sports with the changes. We going to see a new class system for Wrestling, Basketball, Track, Baseball, Softball? Depending on their criteria's you can't base the "right fit" on just solely a football conference. Not to mention with the change of season some schools sprout to the top.

Bald Eagle Area was 1-9 this year, Philipsburg at 0-10, their wrestling won't suffer the same fate, even when they compete at AAA

I would guess that CR is the odds on favorite to join.  They want in.  I don't think it would bother them in other sports that much.  Wrestling and basketball could still pick up some other local teams.

I dont think BC will be getting out of the conferance but if events go like they look to go by the start of the season they might not be playing any games for the season.

They dont have enough kids and felt it was unsafe going into next year with only about 20 kids, admins and ad arent going to help them out. There are other factors going into it but my take is the admin doesnt care about football and with all the coaches leaving look for kids to leave, not looking good for a football program going into next year.

Way too many ego's in Indiana to change from the WPIAL. If you talk to these people the would consider moving to D6 like moving to the other side of the tracks!!!!!   Since Penns Manor has been winning all you hear is: "Well if they played in a REAL district or conference they wouldn't do so well"

LOL West Shamokin parents made the same arguments but lost.  It's like they expect the scouts to notice their kids as he's getting run over by a beast from Clairton or Aliquippa who they are watching.  But Indiana does well enough I think, and it's not like their travel would improve.
