Looks like a 0 point and -2 rating tonight for the "Star". Pens should of won this game. The second and third line could score. Crosby chokes again in close out games in the final.

Best players dont go -2 and 0 points when they can close a finals at home.

I love how you wait until now... You're a joke. To be a star you have to have a perfect game every game

Its one thing to say every game... its another thing to be a close out at home game! Ill say kessel is the star of the team right now. You guys should be riding and praising him more than crosby.

They have been a complete team. Everyone has been scoring. So if Crosby scored two goals and they close out in 6 is he still not a star? What if he wore black and orange? Would you praise him then? Do we need God to say he's one of the best for you to believe it? You'd still argue it then too

I agree they are a complete team. The third line is their best line by far. That doesn't mean Crosby is automatically the best in the game. It means he needs his third line to carry him. Thats okay but he looked like the 4th or 5th best pen tonight. Can't be the best player in the game if you aren't even looking like a top 3 player on your team

You ever think the best defense is always on for Malkin and Crosby, making life easier for HBK.

You're out of your mind. Crosby played lights out (despite being bashed on all night)...but so did their goalie. he was a brick wall...the difference in the game was Murray giving up soft goals and yet another soft wraparound, his obvious weakness. This is what he was dealing with all night (and should never be allowed, BS by ref watching) https://mtc.cdn.vine.co/r/videos/99C391DD961352868292326785024_51c741f92d2.21.0.B3827AE2-31F4-418C-BB39-82022188DCB8.mp4?versionId=grmnKvBq74RwDKNuGQRwgl9DtFpAk4nk

Yeah, but we're not allowed to complain about that. It would make us whiners. Plus the "star" player should be able to play through that, with his titanium steel alloy legs and diamond plated abs....
I understand letting them play, but that was ridiculous. Especially the boarding that never was.

Please re-read my last post. It explains it fully. Amazingly, it's like watching the old Flyers from the 70's. The Bullies. If you can't skate with the other team, hammer the #### out of them.

That's actually a good plan.  Why try to do something you can't?  It would be like a football team that foundation is the run, trying to sling it all over the place just because the other team does.  Can't fault SJ for playing to their strengths.
