1994 final, FH lost in (2) OT to Mt. Carmel.  REAL weak, lol.

No doubt.  I dont mean to say there is no good small school football in eastern, pa.  All I meant Is I feel the caliber of football overall is better in western, pa.  Simple number I outlined show that.  Certainly some good programs though.

Interesting tidbit I came across today...Wilmington has 10 players that will start both ways this weekend. Southern Columbia has 2.

Crazy to think that Garcia who is the states active leader in TDs with 42 would need to score 7 this weekend to match the # Hoenstine put up at Central last year. I know it means nothing in terms of this game just really makes me appreciate what we had last year. I'm sure those that have been affiliated with some of the special FH, Tyrone teams of the past know all too well. The more time passes and u look back u appreciate it even more than u did when it was happening. Here's hoping for some quality games this weekend to wrap up another great high school football season!!!

Southern Columbia is really, really good. Big, physical, and skilled. Impressive for a AA team. TV reported that the Tigers only have 2 two-way starters, pretty unheard of at AA.
