I know that whenever I played in the late 80's if we had Somerset refs we got called for stuff a lot quicker. But pesonally I liked those games because they were consistent. The best crew I remember was John Haines and Joe Renzi, two top notch officials. Too bad they gave it up1
HR: guarnteed that whenever we had Muss and Ron as a crew they called very little. Especially Muss, he would team up well with Rod, too bad he's only on the mat now!
Another instance: a few years ago CT came to Ridge and had a big guy named Byer (brother to the current CT star?). Anyway I remember their emphatically telling the ref that games were called tighter in Somserset County!
The worst crew from Somerset back then was George Paiserb and some ancient bald guy named Andy hands down. The would have fit in well with current Fulton County contigent!
