I think BA can play with PV.
On another note...is it just me or is the WestPAC/heritage crossover thing sort of an advantage over the ICC teams in Class A. You have 3 teams tied for first right now and the ICC team has little chance to be the 1 seed simply because 4 of the teams they beat play each other meanwhile the Heritage/WestPAC game winner has a chance to add twice the power points because all the teams they beat are matched up against different opponents. Doesn’t seem real fair in my opinion ...

You're right to some extent. But if the team's conference that wins the NC/Portage game loses most of their crossover games, then JV may get the one seed.

Or blame the ICC schools that don’t try to schedule out of their league. The league allows teams in week 1 to play non - con games. Most however , decide to play each other.

Actually that’s not the case. They allow Bellwood to play Tyrone and so then whoever would have been scheduled to play BA that week is allowed to schedule an out of conference game. The rest are tied to the conference schedule.

Yes that’s true. They could...but statistically it is unlikely

True but think of it the other way. You have no say in who you play. No one gives Shade much of a chance at all and I highly doubt they would have scheduled someone the caliber of LV. As was stated above NC and Portage for example could be the one seed but also could fall down to 4 as a result of a loss vs a good team. That is the one downside to how playoff point system works. You get points for beating a winless team but receive nothing for losing to an undefeated team. I don’t think there is anyway to fix that and most times it is irrelevant because teams only play their conference only.

Bellwood plays Tyrone. Mount Union plays Huntingdon. West Branch plays P-O. This year Northern Bedford played Central. Before Ridge went to LHAC , Everett played them. The week 1 or 0, games don’t count for league standings. So yes, these teams could get creative with their schedule and find someone else to play .

It seems to me you only post about Somerset. Which leads me to believe you are a fan/family member of someone on the team. Which is what puzzles me to why you continually bash them?

I stand corrected.
