I wouldn't be so sure about Ridge-they just pounded a 'better-than expected' Somerset team, Bellefonte took down Central Martinsburg, and J'town gave the Rangers all they wanted. Guess thats why they play the games.

I had heard Somerset was going to be better. What I heard from people last night at the game that wasn’t the case.

Sometimes strange things happen in week 1. Sometimes it’s a sign of the season ahead. We won’t know for 2-3 more weeks so stay tuned.

Somerset has A LOT of work to do if they're going to have a strong season. For having a senior heavy roster (per MaxPreps), they were very underwhelming in their first game. Size and athleticism seem to be there, but they seemed really out of synch as a team.

I 100% agree with you. No place in 1A or 2A for any private/catholic schools. 3A should be the lowest classification they are allowed. At least in my opinion.

They have 76 viable boys in the school, and as far as I know, nobody outside of the area of altoona/hollidaysburg where they now have schools that are all part of one system. It ain’t changing.

CR takes powerlifting seriously. Shows in all sports. Wrestling program espwxially with kids moving in from all over. Gor some Kiski hammer who never seen anything like our program. CR going to keep thumping everybody because of the focus on lifting. Good luck boys you'll need it.

Not sure we should have you tell us who a not good team is.. That very very good Mcort line just got handled at the point. Meeker out 66 yds rushing with that huge line Meanwhile BEA with a bunch of sophomores, took CC to the wood shed last night. Looking forward to Johnstown vs CC.

When was the last time you watched an LHAC team play? Pretty sure I’ve seen more than you

McCort got “handled” yet played 3 close quarters with debatedly the best team in the league, oh and they did so with their backup QB. I do recall that I said if McCort can stay healthy they can win 4-5 games. No one had them beating BG and they played them tight.

Not sure what game you watched last night (you didn’t) but the majority of Bald Eagle’s team were Juniors and seniors, including their 5 biggest impact players who were all seniors.


Kind of odd that you’re looking forward to a game that you’ll never watch lol
