Today's (Sun.) T-D had Somerset @ 15-2 with their win yesterday.

Depending on which side you are on, a game in any sport can be either poorly officiated, or if your side wins, maybe you think it was only so-so. Richland-Windber defeated St. Michael 8-5 behind some kid from the pony league, thanks in part to Blue behind the plate. This man had nerve to actually say to the home crowd, after he stunk the whole game from the first pitch on, that he was calling a GOOD game. This after he tossed Denny Gramling for the following exchange: Gramling: (paraphrasing) That was a terrible call, etc.,. UMP: One more outburst from you, SON, and you're out of here! Gramling: I'm not your SON. UMP: That's it, YOU'RE GONE! Now, once he was tossed, of course all checks are out the window, and some other heated words were said, but this UMP clearly had NO control whatsoever. Mystery strike zone, doesn't know what a balk call is, refuses to see batters stepping on the plate after hitting the ball, the list seems endless. And Willis was on the bases! But he was his usual self. It was his partner behind the plate that reeked.

versatil4- Can you confirm that the Saints are in Lilly Tues. night against your guys? I have a schedule that says Wed. night, but tonight several parents said Tues. vs Lilly and we have someone else on Wed.

Just to recap... Lilly has gone back to the .500 mark at 8-8 with a win over portage on monday. Lead by the right arm of none other than the one that isnt me, Matt Rhodes.

Negative on the rainout Pale. Positive on the blowout though... Not much to say about a 17-2 game.
