I love you Big 11 kool-aid drinkers. If a team like Northwestern beats Michigan, you talk about the Big 11 having balance. If South Florida beats Louisville, then the Big East is weak.
The Big East is weak.

Moldo, no, it's just a stepping stone and the topic of this post. If they only win 6 games, I'll be pissed.

Heaven&Hoops,
Who said the Big lEast is weak? I believe that TAE stated that it was very balanced. PSU would hand Louisville the same **** whooping that South Florida did. The funny thing about it is, Moldo constantly brings up how PSU scheduled all these cupcake teams that just because I-A a few years ago, and now one of those cupcake teams beat the Big Easts only BCS hopefull.(to not get thier **** kicked when they get to the bowl game)

Why do you keep saying " the Big East's only hopeful"? Isn't a Big East team guaranteed a spot in the BCS bowl picture? If so, they're ALL hopefuls, right?

Hey. Maybe Uconn can beat Texas and bring some prestige back to your bid... or maybe they'll lose by 90 like Pitt did to Utah.

You mean that part AFTER the period (and the misspelling of hopeful)? The period usually signals the end of a thought. You violated every rule of punctuation with that sentence.

Thanks man. You've run out of options, so you might as well change it up and make something else fall your way.

Options? As Jimmy Durante once said, "I got a million of 'em".

Unfortunately, I think PSU will still need two more wins after next week. Minnesota's a tough customer, and won't be quite as lenient as Northwestern was in giving PSU the win. Especially since Minnesota just hung on through the fourth quarter to double overtime to win a game against 11th ranked Purdue. Purdue may have been a bit overrated, but they are still a solid team, and well, Minnesota will probably be in the top 25 next week. PSU's got their work cut out for them.

As far as the Big Weak, Pitt isn't making a bowl game this year, and Louisville, if they make a BCS bowl, looks to take Pitt's place on the wrong end of a 35-7 blowout.

My money is on Syracuse. They're about as good as Virginia Tech, right?

I think if PSU can completely take Cupito out of that game, and make Maroney become the only offense, PSU has a chance to outscore Minnesota. No one is going to stop Maroney, and he'll get 150+ probably, but if they can completely stop the passing game, PSU should be able to utilize the speed on offense and win a shootout. If PSU wins, expect the score to be about 45-40. This is a huge game for PSU, as Minnesota is the team that sent the program into a tailspin. This is also a huge game for the Gophers because of who they have coming up. If Minnesota loses, their season is gonna be about over. They are not good enough to beat the top teams in the Big 10. Purdue is crazy over-rated as usual, and I'm not looking at this overtime win as anything special. Both teams this week need to win this game. I'll take PSU at home, I guess.
