To be the best you not only have to think you are the best, but you have to train with the thought that someone else is working to be better than you. Don't let somebody beat you because they worked harder than you.

that makes perfect sense there lonewolf
but you need to get to that plateau first
i mean he got second in the 2mile last year with the top guy graduated
but now he needs to keep improving because there are some guys that good threaten him come districts
he needs to think hes the best in his right mind
such as "i can get him, i will get him"
but not get cocky and and tell everyone that hes going to do that
he needs to prove that he can't be beat to himself first then try to talk other people into it

well i do know that mitchell and donaldson do run a lot but as far as training i doubt that they would come right out and say it
i mean mitchell is running 9:45 for 2 miles after all which is so good that we had a kid on our college team as a freshmen equal that time for 5 miles on a cross country course
so he probobly won't let anybody in on that

Well i look at it this way if hes one of the best he wont be afraid to share what he does. i mean if you run 5 miles hard ever day and thats your secret a kid that runs ok and tries to run 5miles everday isnt going to be as good as you. i mean if your scared tot tell us what you do thats ok i was just wondering
