im talkin bout how you always talk up rich and the eeers but as soon as joepa goes up against a good coach, all of the sudden the good coach becomes the best coach in the land and rich goes bye bye

Did RichFraud personally tell you that quote? It's probably because you're 3 and a half feet tall and were a bad target. No wonder he wanted you to spot the ball and make a tackle, every throw in your direction was over your head...

...which is where most posts on BC end up going.

Funny thing is, I remember the whole "Spot the Ball" anthem. I was in my last year of grad school, I think, when Coach Rod came to WVU. They had that stupid spot the ball slogan on everything, t-shirts, bumper stickers, they even had a song they would play on WVAQ.

I was at a dinner that the Chi Omega sisters were having for outstanding faculty, the menu was spaghetti and lima beans. in the middle of the massacre, one beauty lifted her head and said: "so do you think coach rod will spot the ball well?"

oye vey.


The song went something like:

"coach has got me in the huddle...
spot the ball...."

funny how a 3-8 inagural (or something like that) season will change a gameplan.
