the whole thing (truck and trailor) is not called a semi...the truck itself is a semi because its not whole until it has a trailor. still doesnt change the fact that the curve have characteristics of a pro team (meaning they get paid) but they only resemble a pro team and arent actually one

Semi-pro baseball has its own league, own teams, and even keeps its own set of records. Whether you like it or not, minor league baseball is professional. You are the one calling them semi-pro. No one else used that term.
