Re: Pittsburgh Penguins
laraque's a bum. even when he fights it isn't that exciting and i'd love for them to get rid of him, but they don't need someone out there that will attack anytime someone touches crosby for 3 reasons... 1. as walter already said, he fights back 2. this team has some of the best chemistry i've ever seen in a professional sports team. they all stick up for each other and all have each other's backs. we don't need to get some guy whose only job is to protect sid because everyone on this team will stick up for him and get into a scrap if need be. 3. THIS IS A DIFFERENT GAME THAN WHEN THE GREAT ONE PLAYED!!! penalties are called all the time, suspensions are given out left and right, fines are higher, new rules are in place to protect the players.

Re: Pittsburgh Penguins
I don't think it was so much out physicaled as much as it was sloppy play. Constantly turning over the puck and leaving men wide open in front of the cage isn't a good way to win hockey games.

The Flyers are just like the Titanic. They both look good until they hit the ice

Re: Pittsburgh Penguins

Now we just have to hope that Sid doesn't rush back like he did the first time.

Re: Pittsburgh Penguins
we've been doing fine, in fact better than fine, without sid... he can sit out until he is completely healed.

Re: Pittsburgh Penguins
I would like to see Sid play in a few games before the playoffs so he can get back into some game shape but the main thing is having him ready for the playoffs and if that means sitting him until then that is what the Penguins need to do. I think the last few nights have shown that Fluery is who the Pens should fall back on in the playoffs. In Conks defense though, the defense was much better Tuesday than it was Monday against the Islanders.

Re: Pittsburgh Penguins
How realistic is it that the pens win all 3 of these games to clinch the wales?
