Huge win for Cook over Martelotti in the Shady Side match... Martelotti was a returning state champion and Cook went out and beat him to keep the run going for the Bisons. Great job to the whole Bedford team, Go get em tomorrow in the semis!!

that was a big winfor Cook, but Martellotti has been losing a lot of matches this year, hes lost to lascari, kushner, prezzia, he got pinned by McKillop from burrell, and if i remember correctly, i think he only had one loss last year to schopp in the regional finals. Not to take anything away from cook, that was a big match, which sealed the win for Bedford, but martellotti isnt the same wrestler he was last year.

Is Martellotti not the same wrestler or is it just a weight thing?

I think its the weight thing. I mean look at the schoop boy from tyrone. And many others this year thsty wrestled 103 last year.

Sparky is on the right track with that one. Schopp has 3 loses one to Shane Young (4-0, he lost by fall to Young last year)One to the top ranked 103 pounder from Reynolds, Mason Beckman, and he came back to avenge that loss in the 3rd place match at KOM:the third was to Thomas I believe and that was when he was eliminating at 103 so he was giving 9 lbs.He has since settled in, back training and eating well, the postseason will be kind to him. Martellotti also if you have noticed, wrestled several recent matches at 112; the recent losses were at 119.

Exactly...In fact, the second time Shady Side and Bedford met up, Martelotti stayed down at 112 and beat Corey Thomas.
